Garners in January

I still don't feel like I have much to blog about. William's growing at a healthy pace, he's a great sleeper (5 hours almost every night!), still on oxygen - we'll let you know when he's off.

Poor Patrick and Stephen... I don't know where to begin. They've had cabin fever all Winter, but over the past week, they got nasty Flu fevers. Patrick got up to 104, we even had a trip to the ER where they just checked for Strep throat and told Matthew it was probably the normal flu because H1N1's been out of sight for 3 weeks. Stephen's never got up that high, but his cough has been worse than Patrick's. All I know is, I'm getting them vaccinated next year because this 4 day high fever thing is uncool. Other than that, they're still going crazy being cooped up in our apartment, I am DYING for warm weather to come!!!

Matthew is still working through SOS temp agency for Nu Skin. He actually had an interview for a supervisor position, and also applied for a couple other jobs. I'm very appreciative for his willingness to work where he can and we are both grateful that he has this at the present time.

I was on blood pressure medication for about 4 weeks after I had William from the preeclampsia, but I've been off it for 1-2 weeks now and I'm happy for that. I'm working again and man, I forgot how slow it is at the beginning of the year. I'm finding myself wishing to be asleep and near William a lot. If only the paycheck could come without the work, huh? Really, I'm grateful for my job and very grateful it's graveyard so we can manage a 2 income home without daycare.

I can't believe I still haven't mailed out our family Christmas card... we'll be sending those out this week. I'm tired just thinking about it. Maybe I'm just tired. lol We are loving the apartment and neighborhood we live in, we are grateful for our overall health and just happy in general. I can't wait until we get our tax return so we can have a vacation for the first time in over a year.

Can you guys believe one year ago at this time I was planning a divorce? Crazy how life can change. I love my husband Matthew, I'm so grateful for our happy marriage and still in shock and awe that it could even be as good as it is. I guess God just cares. :)
