Something light

At breakfast, while eating pancakes...

Stephen, "This syrup fits me!" Points to Patrick, "You're going to grow out of that syrup!"
Patrick, "Not 'til I'm six!"

Random, eh?

In case you haven't seen these on facebook:

Our gingerbread family!

Watching to see if the gingerbread men run away...

3 boys at Thanksgiving point, playing in the water at Noah's Ark - you need to go if you haven't been yet!

So Patrick comes and says, "I have another loose tooth!" I look and see he had his adult tooth growing in already. We consulted with the best dentist on earth and he said we should get it pulled... and it would be okay for us to pull it! Matthew tried with a string, but Patrick was so wiggly and getting more and more upset. I was like, what the heck, this will never get done. So I reached in, grabbed that tooth and yanked it out myself! Hopefully that adult tooth works it's way in!

One Day - Shedding some of the load.

If you have not yet heard (One Day - by Matisyahu), please listen to it and read the words. I try to be positive... and I used to think that was a strength. Now I know it's not really a strength, but a defense mechanism. If I don't look at the positive, then the darkness around me will get me down. Our family is being shaken up right now. My life is busier now than ever before. I never knew Patrick going to school would add so much stress and pressure to my life - but it has. I feel like I fail him every minute he's late to school. This song helps me breathe, slow down and gives me inspiration.
sometimes I lay under the moon
and thank God I'm breathing
then I pray don't take me soon
cause I am here for a reason
sometimes in my tears I drown
but I never let it get me down
so when negativity surrounds
I know some day it'll all turn around
becauseall my life I've been waiting for
I've been praying for, for the people to say
that we don't wanna fight no more
they'll be no more wars
and our children will play
one day, one day, one day
