Just Because

So I wrote a long post and then blogger had an issue and now it's gone. To sum it up: I'm super duper happy with my awesome boys (stop growing!) and I love my husband Matthew Ray Garner. He bought me beautiful sapphire earrings for valentine's day and while I'm wearing them, I can't stop checking myself out in the mirror. I love Matthew anyway, of course - he is amazing and together, we make a fabulous team!

I took the boys to the Dinosaur museum today with cousins (Lisa my sis in law and their four kids). It was a lot of fun to be out with William finally and fun to be with family! Thanks for coming with us Lisa!

I think Brooklyn and Amelia switched off being scared. So cute!

Update on life

Matthew is the table coordinator at Nu Skin now, working full time. Yay for a little raise and health benefits! It's fun that we're working in the same place and we're both happy he's someone's employee again, not just a "temp." He is also very happy the USA just beat Canada in Hockey. Yay for Olympics - we are rockin them this year!

Amy is working a new shift to work around Matthew's schedule. I work 12:30am-6:30am and Matthew works 3:30pm-12:00am. We both enjoy it, my sister was amazing and watched the boys for us from 10pm-12, the new shift takes that need away. We were very grateful for her help! I am also increasing my home decorating skills and trying to keep the boys from killing each other, tearing the house apart or going insane with boredom. I ordered an inflatable trampoline that works indoors - we'll see how it goes!

Patrick is going to Kindergarden this year... I'm registering him March 19th - I'm so sad and excited about it at the same time. I can't imagine turning my baby over to a stranger for any part of a day, but I'm excited that he gets to discover a new part of our world - socializing on a regular basis with a larger group than he's ever had to deal with.

Stephen turned 3 today! I love him so much and I'm shocked at how much he's grown, especially in the last month!!! He can now reach to turn off the lights no problem and his ankles aren't even close to being covered by size 2T. So sad! Remember he shares a b-day with the Crock Hunter? Happy birthday, Steve Irwin, I can't wait for Stephen to learn more about who you were!

William is becoming Mr. Attitude. He is so easy-going and chill, but man, when he's tired, he demands to be wrapped up and left alone or he cries like crazy. He got too used to being laid still for long periods of time in the NICU. He's still an AMAZING sleeper! He sleeps 5-7 hours/night easily, and after he's fed will go right back to sleep for another 2-4 hours. Please let this last - it's too good to be true!

LOVE YOU ALL!

Good News all around!

So, I have two cysts on my kidney and they're the harmless kind, yay.

AND William is off oxygen during the day - yay!!! That huge tank was getting annoying, he's definitely adjusting to not having oxygen and he's not used to being moved around so much, I've startled him a couple times. Poor cutie.

Here he is cannula and monitor-free!!!
