Moving back to Utah???

No, but Amy and the boys are going back to Utah for a few months. We don't know the exact time we'll come back to New York. After applying for over 100 jobs and finally getting the one with HSBC, they informed Matthew that one of his employers claimed they had no record of him working there AND coincindentally, our high school is being bull-dozed, so they couldn't get a hold of them to confirm he got his HS diploma there... Matthew worked for Macey's for over 2 years and they switched to a different computer program or something. We don't know how many potential employers tried calling Orem High School or Macey's... but now we see why it may have been so hard for him to get hired! Since it took so long to get a job, our savings is gone and we need to play catch up.

We don't want to get into greater debt by moving out now, so we want to save money and reduce our current debt before we move. I will be working for my brother's website again while me and the kids are in Utah. Matthew and I will be sad to be apart, but we're really looking forward to making financial progress so we can REALLY move into the next chapter of our lives.

What do we need from you? Love and support. We've really thought every aspect through and know this is our best option when all aspects are considered. I'm excited to take the road trip with the kiddies and see my family and friends again. We're heading out the 13th of September. Feel free to call me the 13th-16th to help me stay awake!

Hello Hello!

What's going on in our lives???

Amy still has photography clients - 2-3 per week, except this week, which was random... but she filled her time with shooting a yoga class and a family in her ward.

Matthew has a job! It doesn't start until September 15th, but that just means we have more time to love each other in person! He will be working at HSBC.

Patrick is getting bigger and bigger, he's starting to talk about what he wants to be and do, and also what he doesn't want to do. He wants to be an astronaught for now... he also doesn't want to do things that are on America's Funniest Home Videos... he'll see a kid trip and get messy or something and he'll say "I don't want to do that"... he says it about 50 times through the show.

Stephen loves animals still. Too much sometimes. We held kitties today and he picked those poor things up like toys - at least we grabbed them before he threw them like toys. He's speaking so well, I'm shocked. If any of you call us, you need to request Me and him to sing a duet, it's the funniest thing (Old Macdonald had a farm...eyiy-yiy-ooooo).

Buddy and C-A-T, YES, we have two new members of our family. We've adopted two young cats a month ago and there's a nice couple fostering them for us. Little CAT (see-A-tee) had a litter of 4 kittens a couple weeks ago and they are so cute, they have homes already, yay. Buddy just lost a body part or two... he'll forgive us one day.

That's it for now, we love you all!

Hello Everyone

I'm sorry we haven't made a new post in a WHOLE MONTH... I can't believe it's the middle of July.
Enjoy these photos taken in New York! I'll include some in each post from now on.

For those of you who haven't heard, we lost our pregnancy one week after the positive result. So, I'm very glad to have it be sooner rather than later. I should've learned my lesson from past experience not to count on it so soon.

Now I'll tell you some cute news. Stephen is talking up a storm - for a 16 month-old anyway =) He says thank you more clear every day. He says nose, he points to it and yours to make sure you still know where it is. He says peeeee for please and he'll point to be put up in his chair and I'll say up? and then he says doooow. So intelligent - he knows his opposites. ha ha... Patrick sings Twinkle Twinkle Little Star perfectly now (He used to say "I don't know what you are" instead of "How I wonder what you are." He also recognizes the written letters A, B, P and S. He likes singing the baseball song still (Take me out to the ball game...) and he's helping Stephen get out of the high chair and his port-a-crib... by knocking it down for him to climb out!

As for Amy and Matthew - we're enjoying the time we have together and adjusting to New York, but also feeling the stress of Matthew finding the perfect job to land in his lap. Did God not get the memo?

I've begun establishing a photo client base and I'm excited for that to grow and still working for
www.shopJandL.com - they seriously have any kitchen item you need and MORE. Also parts for Peg Perego, Little Tikes and Power Wheels ride on toys.

We love you all, and if we don't call you with good news, that's because there isn't any YET.
